Søren is a Danish Film Editor, currently based in Berlin, Germany.
Growing up in front of a TV watching cheap horror movies and skate films till the VHS-tapes wore out, his interest in film started very early on. Through his obsession with skateboarding, he started filming his friends and editing it together, which led to his immense interest in experimenting with visual storytelling. Upon graduating from the film school ‘Multiplatform Storytelling and Production’ in Denmark, he moved to Berlin, where he’s currently working as a freelance film editor. He has had the pleasure of working with major clients, such as The New York Times, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Hyundai and Adidas, and great directors like Mackenzie Sheppard, Sidney van Wichelen and Sebastian Kortmann. His work has been featured on Nowness, on billboards in Times Square and aired during the Super Bowl.
Søren is a storyteller by heart, always looking to elevate the experience by telling a thrilling, emotional story through the right pacing, atmosphere and visual style.
