Ernie Schaeffer is a distinguished colorist with a career spanning 35 years and a portfolio of over 50 films, including acclaimed works such as La Sombra del Catire (Warsaw 2023 winner), Beginning (Cannes), Beba (Toronto), A Love Song (Sundance), What We Leave Behind (SXSW), The Hole in the Face (Venice), The Mountain (Venice), We Are the Flesh (Rotterdam), In Between Dying (Venice), and Robe of Gems (Berlin). Many of these films have premiered at prestigious international festivals and even made it to the Oscars shortlist.

As the Director of the Color Department at Caffeine, Ernie has made a significant impact. In this role, he not only excels as the Lead Colorist but also designs innovative remote workflows for post-production projects, collaborating with industry giants such as Disney, Paramount, Amazon, and Netflix.

Additionally, Ernie shares his expertise as a Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve ambassador for programs in Latin America and as a demonstration artist at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
