Daniel’s journey through the world of color began as a wide-eyed kid hanging around television commercial sets. By his teenage years, he was already experimenting with editing software and videotape machines. After cutting his teeth as a Head Processor at a film lab, he made the leap to the big city. At Technicolor’s West Village hub, he worked as an Imaging Supervisor before joining the talented crew at MPC. There, he learned from—and eventually worked alongside—some of the industry’s most brilliant colorists. Daniel believes color should enhance the emotional truth of a story, never overshadowing, but always elevating the narrative.

Daniel’s color work has been part of award-winning projects, earning Clio Awards, FCS Portfolio Awards, and Vimeo Staff Picks. Throughout his career, Daniel has collaborated with brands like Adidas, Aetna, Aflac, Amgen, Chase, Comcast, Dr Reddy’s, Elizabeth Arden, Facebook, Fader, Geico, Google, Hearst Magazine, Kids Foot Locker, Krazy Glue, Master & Dynamic, Mint Mobile, National Geographic, Nike, Paper Mag, PBS, Prada, Revlon, Rockstar Energy, Salesforce, Sprint, Spruce, Tabasco, Tag Heuer, TD Bank, Verizon, Vogue, Xfinity, Zappos, Zara, Zenni, and Zicam.

When Daniel’s not color grading, you might find him strumming his trusty guitar or showing his kids one of his prized possessions: a Mr. Rogers headshot personally signed to him (thanks to his dad’s film world connections). Fred Rogers’ approach to life resonates deeply with Daniel’s own philosophy as a father—though he can’t promise to change into a cardigan when he enters the color suite.
